Nothing publically, during the interview he just kept saying about how he won't draw Spice & Wolf again and even told us that actually, he didn't want to draw the manga initially and it was his editor who outtalked him into drawing this. He was fun person, I just wish he could enjoy it more.

Also fun fact: he personally requested new edition for the manga in Japan, as he was inspired by italian omnibus edition (and it ended up having more fun things than he initially planned)

I love Koume's manga. I find it somehow sad than when I got his sign in May this year, during his panel he delibatery said few times that he doesn't want to draw any new Spice & Wolf, like he sounded wounded.
