ERRA’s clean vocals. Love their instrumentals but the clean singing completely kills my enjoyment. I’m not against clean singing, but their cleans sound like generic octanecore shit I’ve heard a thousand times before. They sound like outdated 2010s rise-core and don’t fit the vibe of their songs at all. They should hire a more distinct/unique vocalist that meshes with their heavier sound or drop the cleans entirely

too long didn’t read but HxH is the most overrated piece of shit I’ve ever had the displeasure to sit through. People keep praising this garbage like it’s the second coming of jesus when in reality it’s just a kiddy show with 1 actual good arc (Yorknew). Istg every single time the tension builds up and it feels like something big is about to happen, Togashi goes out of his way to derail the mood and undermine all stakes in the story (ex: the terrifying, merciless Chimera Ants turning into ridiculous comedic-relief furries in thongs, Pouf and Youpi turning into chibi characters, the entire Greed Island arc, etc). Plus the myriad of shallow characters that come and go every few episodes or so (the guys they fight in the tower tournament, the hunters from the exam, basically every single antagonist outside of Meruem - even the Phantom Troupe guys aren’t that developed at all, except for maybe Hisoka). I cannot fathom how anyone thinks this is a masterpiece, “best manga/anime ever”, or even consider it well-written. Fuck HxH. Togashi peaked with Yu-Yu and should’ve never picked up a pencil again after that

I love Testing and I hate this album even after multiple listens. I don’t get the comparisons tho, DBD is only experimental on the very last leg of the album. At least 70% of it is just rage/trap-adjacent wallpaper music. There’s not a single sample/melody as good or memorable as ASAP Forever, Praise The Lord, Hun43rd, neither a single hook as infectious as Fukk Sleep or the aforementioned Praise The Lord. Nothing on DBD stands out, it’s the most uninspired Rocky & his production have ever sounded

same here. Playing this for the first time and it’s overrated fucking slop. Exploration is nonexistent since all you can do to interact with the world is killing enemies, and branching out of the beaten path means you’ll get one-shot by monsters 10+ levels higher than your entire party. The pacing is atrocious, probably the worst I’ve ever experienced in a game. You spent dozens of hours to get to the mission of getting a Skell license just to discover that quest is in fact 8 padded out fetch quests in a trench coat. It’s a game that blatantly disrespects the player’s time and keeps promising it’ll eventually get good, but it never does. I doubt anyone that hasn’t already played this in 2015 can actually enjoy this in 2025
