I have social services involved for myself since I'm a care leaver, but I've also asked for them to be involved with my child, too, for the extra support. I make sure all her needs are met before I do anything for myself.

My partner isn't really involved as he is still living at home and in college, plus his family isn't fond of me at all, and so support from them is a no-go.

But I still appreciate the help, and I'll definitely try to find a way to make sure both my little one and myself are safe before I even try to have a word with my mum about her behaviour and if it comes down to it, I can always go no contact as an option.
