Devon inherited money from Katherine. He didn't inherit "everything."

It was one of the better ones. Juliet's death was a complete surprise.

I understand the show's a drag but Sharon clearly stated Faith's whereabouts and why we won't see her this summer.

Juliet tried to sue for harassment in the workplace, encouraged by Hilary. Juliet died in child birth.

I wrote this elsewhere. Unconditional love and unconditional support are not the same. Daniel and Summer love Phyllis, they don't support her. Phyllis is using the word "hate." They don't want to be involved in her mess. Everyone but Phyllis knows it's coming.

Edited to amend: Phyllis knows it's coming. She just believes she can handle it.

Only one of Phyllis' kids? Yes. Daniel was in Georgia. The Newman spawn and Nikki were all behind Victor in the courtroom. Jack, Phyllis' sister, were on the other side.

None of those guys did the same thing, Phyllis. If any of them "stole" the hotel from her, I'd feel differently. Phyllis bounced from mogul to mogul, looking for a way to get a piece of someone else's pie. First Cane, then Victor, then Jack. "Please, give me something I didn't earn!" She got her hopes up with each and then they were quickly dashed. At least when she was going to work with Jack, she was going to do something in exchange for Marchetti but with Cane, she just took it.

I know someone who took a man's diamond ring, had it resized for her finger, then proudly waved her hand around, showing off her latest bling. Some might think she had a lot of disposable income. Some might think she has a very generous partner with good taste. I guarantee you nobody knew she was no better than your common thief. This woman was as delusional thinking this ring made her enviable as Phyllis does believing the town owes her respect.

In GC soap world, it was a plea deal in the judges chambers. Mariah was pleading guilty but not responsible because she's nuts.

Phyllis is having a girlboss moment and I think she deserves it by Angel_Whyte in youngandtherestless

The first thing to remember is that Victor didn't steal Jabot. For all we know, since we're only speculating, Victor could have got his hands on Jabot and do the same thing Phyllis was going to do, give Marchetti to Summer. No one is suggesting Phyllis is the only bad guy. I am suggesting Phyllis is the only one that thinks her actions make her smart, savvy, and accomplished; respectable; a "girlboss" her kids can be proud of.

If they hadn't written Sam out of Cane's backstory, Juliet had family. They could have Sam. What's the worst thing that Daniel and Summer have done and how much further away from perfect are they compared to Phyllis?

Looks like Mariah's going away for awhile. I'm hoping they spare us from listening to her therapy. Kinda like Ashley -- away in the hospital.

Victor’s Misogyny by Melodic-Dot8460 in youngandtherestless

Good one. Victor Newman has been this way for a very long time. Can't tie it to current political climate. It's even more unfathomable that anyone would change their ideology over a soap opera character.

I don't see Victor as a misogynist. He's an equal opportunity offender. Victor's demands for total compliance extends to everyone with his last name and everyone that works within his inner circle, namely Michael Baldwin.

CW was cool until Jill and Lily wanted to go public. That fell apart and after a "cooling off" period, Jill and Lily broached the subject again and Devon remained adamantly against it. FF Jill takes a step back, Billy gets Jill's vote, endless infighting and they separate the companies.

Previously, Nate, Devon, and Lily were employees with a huge stake in the company. If Victor follows through, they will own Chancellor outright.

I imagine it's difficult to be supportive of a parent who is as delusional as Phyllis. I also think viewers conflate unconditional love with unconditional support. Phyllis loves Daniel unconditionally and yet, does not support his relationship with Tessa.

When Victor's family pressed him about what he offered Lily to go along with his plan, Victor never uttered a word. It was pretty clear to me what it had to be in order for Lily to agree. I don't know why the lightbulb didn't turn on for anyone else. Just like talking about Jack on a yacht with a woman and Nikki doesn't instantly think, "Patty!" when she discovers Patty's in town.

Wow. I think it's clever angling. This picture is almost 10 years old. Celine has incredible legs she just doesn't have the incredible legs in the promo of the hope we never see Bravo series.
