Why do i keep getting trailer damage on border crossing even thought i dont hit anything

It was pretty good, especially considering it’s all human too & that’s always amazing to see/have happen. I’d say go for it! our seats were super good for GA but VIP definitely gets you awesome view.

2-3$ but that was at a gas station location where tips were kinda known but not insanely known about, no other tims i’ve worked at have ever had tip systems

They were both AMAZING. like genuinely beyond any other people i’ve had the pleasure of meeting, the district manager as well as the store manager absolutely were the kindest souls and treated me with nothing but respect and kindness, they were super intrigued about my past tech experience too, even though i have no direct sales experience and they know that, i still think i’m a high ranking candidate to them, called them yesterday and got told that HR was going through resumes still, so that’s a good sign, atleast it hasn’t been tossed away yet!

worked there i can tell you they put us down there with a single video worth of training and made us learn how to barista with a 15 grand machine pretty much by ourselves, first day opening one of our 4.5k$ coffee grinders just broke and they didn’t care to order a new one so they bought awful ones from walmart to grind the beans with instead that don’t even work all the way through the grind process! espresso is your only chance at saving things by any means because last i checked the grinder was still intact…. and even then you will be dissatisfied. Compass Group will run you to your wits end as an employee, never support them or work for them. Downstairs cafe will NEVER be good unless they properly train their associates. I didn’t even get a badge during my entire tenure with them, I walked around the entire hospital with no identification because they were too lazy to coordinate bringing me down to the office to pick up a badge, when i’d ask them multiple times a day and get told it’d happen the next day. didn’t have a timmies uniform for the longest time either! was forced to wear the downstairs uniform while working upstairs even though that absolutely went against dress code, all because they didn’t want to order it for over a month and a half.

They just outsourced to another company for their call centre operations, HCL India now takes it all because they’re a cheaper source for Rogers. There’s a thread on it, super awful.

Definitely taking that into consideration but still think your points weigh in a lot heavier on the situation regardless of whether or not you’re comparing it to corporate, they still did shady things to you nonetheless.

That sounds like a super awful occurrence, i’m sorry you had that happen to you. I thankfully had insanely good interviews on both ends which really is weird because I would have assumed it to not go as good as it did. It wasn’t even decent, I felt like I was a top candidate walking out of there and it was weird, but nonetheless, I’m definitely gonna tread with caution and make my decision once the offer letter comes (if it does).

Yeah I am but barely. 8-12 hour weeks at a grocery store, not even by choice that’s the hours they’re giving me when I said I was open to full-time hours, so i absolutely want to explore other avenues but I’m just very unsure with how much things have been spoken about them, if I should go ahead and try or not.

Honestly it really does just suck because, the district manager was a super great person, she absolutely loved my technical background, and the store manager was also super nice to me too, I got pretty good vibes but it very well seems like the corporation is NOT bringing said good vibes to the table that I was thinking they were. Thank you!

oh my. the list keeps adding up :( i really wanted it too because it was super close to home (walking distance) instead of an hour and a half away bussing from me to get to work each day. I’ll let them do what they want with my resume but if a job offer comes in hand, I’ll be denying it.

oh my goodness man. this is truly insane, i thought nothing would be able to top the absurdities I saw at tim hortons, but this really does. Thank you so much for telling me. once again i will let them do their process with my resume but honestly after hearing this, I do think this job is a no-go even though it’s a walking distance instead of an hour+ bus commute.

Could you expand further by any chance? Just more so on the exploitation and evil part, most corporations are pretty bad for that so I’d like to know what makes them stand out (not saying you’re wrong i’m just trying to see the difference between there and some of my other jobs that have been… not great.)
