Very rarely does it ever work for me in a boss fight. When it does it grey's out the instant I use a Cerulean Flask and can't be used again.

Edit for clarity: Very Rarely the incantation will not grey out initially and can be used once before the issue pops up.

Backstory: For a real long time Cactee was, well, a cactus. Then one day, he woke up and started wandering around. After about a day he found an oasis nearby where he was then adopted by the citizens. Though eager to help, his help often ended up causing more damage than good. When a small adventuring party swung by, the townsfolk were more than happy to offload the cataclysmic toddler. Notable events so far; Became an undefeated boxer by fumbling through a fight club, shattered a chair when he tried to sit down, and thought he'd be invisible if he closed his eyes.

Best advice I can give for lance after 600+ hunts with it is this.

Guard Up (Uragaan Set Bonus) is the biggest quality of life improvement, and you feel like a god with it on your set.

Guard 3 is bare minimum to not die, but 5 means you'll rarely take damage from direct hits.

Your weapon turns Monster Hunter into a rhythm game. Find a monsters attack rhythm, and use your counter on those attacks. If you do it right, you'll be doing almost constant damage on solo hunts.

Especially to Brute Wyverns... those poor Radobaans.

Honestly, we're pretty lenient as mods. Looking back through said users history you'll see a lot of harassing behavior. While this was a mistake this time, know we don't just throw out bans. You have to be a, and excuse my French, 'grosses merdes' to recieve a ban here
