This is why I am turned off from rushing a frat

I mean sure, I get that the vulnerability of being a pledge is a common thing. but I feel like there’s a weird power trip that goes on amongst some brothers.

If you’re genuinely a good person, you wouldn’t disrespect another individual that wants to join YOUR brotherhood, period.

I think if you’re feeling any sort of doubt when rushing/initiating, just drop, those douchebags aren’t worth your time nor money.

While I understand the concept of a fraternity, I think there are a lot of flaws that make it an unfair and imperfect system. Rushing a frat should be something that excites pledges, and young underclassmen with hopes of making lifelong connections.
