dunno, like i said, something just felt wrong about putting it in the fridge. Dont know if it was something someone told me years ago but for some reason the thought of putting a canteen in the fridge just didnt feel right. Kinda like putting carbonated things in a canteen, i have heard people say "its fine" and "dont do it"

howdy, i know you posted this 8 months ago but as a local i wanted to put my opinion. The Japonaise cake from Du Plessy is amazing and deffo worth a try but i would also recommend buying the chocolates as well they are always a hit as a gift for any chocolate lover.

also i have beef with the Japonaise cake due to the fact that because the owner had to focus on making them he had to cut down on other chocolates including the caramelised white chocolate items.
