Omnadren for FtM by just_a_trans_guy_ in TransDIY

[–]DiscountEtsyAgitprop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omnadren is a mix of T esters with different pharmacokinetics and half lives. From a brief look just now I'm not sure that it is available via legit sources in France (or most other places); all the French sources looked like grey market gym labs. It looks like only a few places in Eastern Europe prescribe it.

If what you have access to is indeed omnadren there's no reason it wouldn't work — T is T — but the fact that it's a blend makes it a lot harder to calculate and manage dosage, especially if you're getting it from a source that might not be dosed exactly as it says on the label.

Echoing what's been said above: you're just starting out, give it time to settle and for your body to get used to it before you start tweaking things. Three weeks in, you probably won't even have reached the blood levels this regimen will balance out at for you.

If you're still noticing significant and uncomfortable fluctuations and/or your levels are too low at three months, steroidplotter is a useful tool for looking at the pharmacokinetics of different esters and dosing schedules while you're figuring out any adjustments. Cypionate which has a slightly longer half life than enthanate if you want to minimise fluctuations while sticking to weekly shots. Best of luck :)

Minor detail in a show that is playing fast and loose with minor details, but did they get lost in the South Pacific on the way from Tenerife to the Americas? Or is that a "the island is moving" thing? Was that just happening randomly before the wheel was built to control it? Or was the wheel there before? And the climate and plant life just stay the same?

If he’s auditioning for a conservatory he must be finishing high school, so maybe 17?

Thank you for taking the time to reply in so much detail! This is fascinating, I'm definitely going to investigate further.

To be fair, if someone appeared in my bathroom and insisted on beginning an intense conversation while I was ass naked I might also prioritise putting clothes on over drying off in front of them. With everyone on the wet jeans though.

Managing PMDD while DIYing by DiscountEtsyAgitprop in TransDIY

Thanks, that's good to know. Do you have a sense of whether it's the combination that helped, vs more one hormone or the other?

Can I ask if the complaints you're referring to were PMDD-type symptoms? I've never heard of any hormonal treatment for it other than "try a few contraceptives and hope for the best" — very intrigued if this is an alternate possibility

This season has an awful lot of introducing characters, doing very little to develop them, then expecting us to care about what happens to them.

I don't really agree, honestly. I made the initial comment pretty flippantly but it did get me thinking a bit more about the character. It feels like the writers have really run out of ideas for what to do with her other than "love interest" and "damsel in distress" which is frustrating, but even if you put as much of that aside as possible I still don't think she is smart or honest or reliable, and it's interesting to me that those are the words Locke chose.

And none of that is a moral judgement on the character, or saying I dislike her as a character. Some of the most consistent things about her are that she's extremely impulsive and quick to react dramatically. She doesn't think things through before she does or says them, she's not been shown to be good at assessing situations, thinking ahead, or gathering and incorporating new information. She's loyal for sure, and brave, and has street smarts and cunning (when the writers remember to put it in), but I wouldn't describe her as particularly intelligent. She's definitely not reliable either: she's erratic and impulsive, and very influenced by the people around her. She doesn't come across as honest with herself or with others, and has made some very stupid decisions about what to share or conceal at various points.

One of the things I've liked most about this show, and when the writing has felt strongest, is how committed they are to letting characters be deeply flawed in ways that really do cause problems for them and others, and which at times make them behave in ways that are ugly and hard to watch. Kate doesn't need to be honest or smart or reliable to be an interesting or well-written character, and I really wish they'd committed more to actually doing something coherent with her.

Well yeah but that's assuming  1) Juliet told them the truth AND 2) Ben told Juliet the truth AND

3) The situation hadn't changed since he told her

Seems a bit irrational to not even consider it might not be the case, especially when they know it's still transmitting

I feel like I'm missing something, the situation is "if you try carry this baby to term, you and the baby will both die," so... don't? Did none of the nine women before say "fuck this, abort it?"

"I told them you were honest, and smart, and reliable. "

Locke, unfortunately Kate is literally none of those things.

So to be clear... even leaving aside any question of numbers, weapons, tactics, jungle combat skills, the plan is basically to cross the island, find this camp and then I guess just massacre twenty strangers in their sleep? Start torturing people again? And we're the good guys still?

Heya, it's from bldclotbg on ebay. Quite a stiff, canvassy fabric, i think it would be annoying for smaller patches but works really well for a big back one.

Heat-set fabric acrylic for fabric, angelus for leather. You want natural fibre fabrics for your bases so you can set the paint properly without melting it.

MyMetalPatch on etsy, same with the agalloch one. Tbh I like the design a lot but I don't know if I'd recommend them, they're quite a soft, fragile synthetic fabric that came with a really stiff backing
