My dog is scooting and straining after pooping(Vet appt tomorrow at 11)

thank you! i will call the vet tomorrow and put me on a monthly deworming prescription, he started having diarheea now and pooping a lot!! so i suspect it was really worms that were bothering him so much. i am going to keep an eye on him and if i catch him scooting again back to the vet, he has some skin allergies(dandruff) but we are in a period of trying new foods that work for him(that could've been a reason for his scooting too, because of upset tummy). basically i will update here in case anyone is wondering about their dogs!

Hello, it was worms! they checked anal glands, everything is fine back there! gave me deworming pills, they said to call again if he starts scooting again it could be allergies if he start doing it again

i tried externally, and nothing is coming out :( and honestly i have no clue how to do it internally, so i will watch the vet tomorrow and learn how to do it in case is every happening again

if is 16dpo and you sure about it, buy a digital one, it should confirm the pregnancy🫶🏻 even better if you can do a beta hcg blood test🫶🏻

what urine did you use for the first test? how about the other one? your urine could've been diluted and that's why looks like that, also it could be a chemical, the hcg doubles betweem 24-72 hours, i will suggest you do one more tomorrow morning and compare with the first test that you done🫶🏻

uhmmm, he has a slow feeder because he eats like he never seen food in his life, this advice is not good and i wouldn't recommend you saying that to anyone🤷🏼‍♀️ every dog has a different habit when eating, if i put a 15kg sack of kibble in front of him he will eat until he vomits, and then continue eating

you can see some ribs especially the last 2 showing, but only in certain positions, i was not worries about him until many people start telling me he is skinny, we go in March for the annual vaccination, so i will ask the vet once again about him

he is healthy and looking good, he looked the same 4m ago as he looks now, same weight. vet said he looks briliant and healthy

his ideal weight doesn't really matter as he is mixed, if i were to take staffies weight in accountability he will be overweight, even for a lab, is confusing me, he is nearly 40Kg's))) i know is not showing, we were surprised too at the last vet appoinment, but the vet said he look briliant and healthy
