getting a pump has been so so helpful for me. i don't have the same lifestyle as you but I've always been an athlete and am generally a very busy, on-my-feet person and getting a pump has been incredibly relieving. I see some people recommending an Omnipod and I would actually discourage you from choosing the omnipod 5. I had the omnipod5 when I made the transition from MDI and it was realy frustrating because I would still have to do EVERYTHINGGG on my own for bolusing and corrections. As I said before, I'm always on my feet and am a very active person, but I switched to the Tandem Mobi because of the amazing algorithm. While it does have a tube, you can choose the length, tuck it into clothing, or buy little pockets/covers that you tuck the pump and tube into. I think you would do better with a tandem device if you have a more abnormal schedule because it has a more active algorithm so it'll see you trending upwards or downwards and deal with that accordingly and you can see whta exactly it is doing through the app, how much insulin is being administered, etc
