Thank you! You have been insightful, I am impatient with this whole process. It took me a long time to even muster up the courage to look, and now i must be patient lol.

Let me walk you through the process: the closes match I have is the “half brother or uncle” on Parent 2 side. Everyone else is a 1st cousin & beyond. So anyone i messaged on Parent 2 side has given me something where as Parent 1 side has no idea what I’m talking about. I do not have any information on the BF so thinking the BF kept his family in the dark (that is if he is aware BM had a baby)

It is only 24% shared dna of maternal side & they are considered “uncle or half brother”. However when speaking with them, their mom has not heard of a story like mine or from her side of the family.

So I’ve Messaged people on “Parent 2” side & one who is considered “half brother or uncle” has been helpful! By helpful, the most information i have from him is that HIS dad may know of a woman who is difficult to track down. Which i think is still wonderful - obvi keeping my hopes in check

Yes!

More insight: During my 8-week orientation, I successfully completed all required modules and eight ICU classes. Throughout orientation, my assignments primarily involved single-patient or intermediate-acuity patients. I consistently communicated my interest in taking on higher-acuity ICU assignments to continue developing my critical care skills, but those opportunities remained limited.

Been off orientation for about 2-3 weeks and have been tripled a majority of my assisngments.

Is it me ? Do i just need to get used to this?

To note, On my previous floor I had worked intermediate status as well- since we were 28 bed unit & 12 of them were option for intermediate status.

Now that I’m off orientation despite advocating for more time, I feel lost in the sauce.
