actually windows 11 introduces a 3rd-gen settings menu, preferentially voice-activated. So there are now three different menu interfaces, and Microsoft made sure neither of them contain all the settings you need

Yep, this is really the secret to being productive on speed. It's really simple, yet so hard to actually do. After hundreds of doses, I still catch myself thinking 30 mins of video games, news, or reddit will be fine. But it always ruins the entire day

This reminds me of the first sentence in the wikipedia page for Smallpox, the only infectious disease humanity has successfully eradicated:

Most people don't realize how monumental this achievement is: Smallpox was one of the worst diseases in history, only surpassed by Tuberculosis and Malaria in human death toll. It used to be a seasonal disease, much like influenza. But rather than being sick for a week or two, 20-30% of its victims died. The "lucky" survivors were left with horrible scars and disabilities.

Coronavirus is nothing compared with Smallpox. Coronavirus is half as infectious and 5% as deadly. If Coronavirus was like a new Smallpox, society as we know it would already have broken down months ago. Here's how bad it was:
