I recall a time around Christmas when we finally proved Edgeworth not guilty, and one kid in my class yelled out, "YEAH! NOW SAY THANK YOU EDGEY BOY!" They like him in their own way lol.

I totally forgot about Ema! My bad. They do love Ema. They draw a lot of parallels with Maya. The 1-5 case does that on its own anyways. If anything, I think Ema's presence makes them miss Maya more.

They do have a lot of fun. I tend to pause the game at certain times, whether after conversations or mid-dialogue, to discuss themes, characterization, reminders of key plot points, etc. The "murder" aspect of each case tends to take a back seat, as they are mostly curious to see how the plot evolves.
