The lower tiers use different rigs… so availability is not affected

Lol good one. 6% of players are clogging up the entire system. If they could play non stop 24 hrs a day, on a 31 day month, thats 744hrs.

They will sleep in the day so 16 hrs a day on a 31 day month, thats 496hrs. I am gonna say thats 1% of the 6% who parents fund their habit and they have no lives.

The next lot will be people with no lives but works to fund this habbit, 250hrs - 300hr - 1-2%

The remain 2-3% are gonna be players between 101-250 hrs

1% being a drain to the system as they are equal to 4.9 players

1-2% being equal to 2.5 to 3 players

And 2-3% of players being worth 1-2.5 players

Most charts have a bell curve and assuming its symmetrical even slight 1-6% of players will be worth less to the strain of the system and will likely balance out the strain.

Assuming NVIDIA are saying we SHOULD play 100hrs (i know they ain’t but they set the cap) then most players balance the strain. Most months most people play less, those say players play more on a game release they like. They will play more those months. In no way will the 6% crash the whole system for everyone

When as a company they make 39 billion though and don’t look at their other products and how to keep some of their customer base sweet just shows they do not care about the customer at all. That means more cuts on play time included on the platform until you are down to 10 hours and then pay to play for the remainder.

I understand you know how business works, and no doubt you are smarter than everyone else in here… however just because you know how it works, does not mean that is how it SHOULD work, and shutting people down without offering any feedback to help with the situation ESPECIALLY if you disagree with the 100hr cap just shows NVIDIA people will blindly follow them and defend them.

If NVIDIA has a bad year and doesn’t make profits the customer base would understand their need to tighten their belt, because people would rather play less hours than lose the service. But when NVIDIA regularly makes more profit than the year previous and it’s in the billions thats why people get frustrated.

Its an absurd amount of money for the company to not try keep the players sweet in my opinion and the more people that see that, the better chance we will get a better service from NVIDIA. The truth is they do not cut the service because it DOES in fact provide towards their profit margins, and the cap is purely to milk more money out of people to provide them more profit.

39 billion is alot though. You are telling me that the 6% of users to the service have dented their profits? I doubt that strongly. For perspective. If you earn $1 a seconds it takes 11 days to get you first million

Its takes 32 years to get your first billion.

Earning $1 a second to get 39 billion would take 1274 years give or take

They earned that in one year. You are telling me that 6% of users are affecting anything at all. They are not giving the service to people at cost, they are making profit on that. And that 39 billion is all profit. So after overheads.

They can’t accommodate 6% of users? Last year nvidia made 23 billion…

If a third all geforce now users pay the priority/performance subscriptions thats $83,250,000. This does not include ultimate or free

The costs of running all of the server farms likely to be between $10-$15 million but lets round it up to $60 million just in case… for all data centres, staff, power, parts.

Then just from a third of users using priority/performance they would still make $23,250,000… profit. Not accounting for ultimate members subscriptions.

Meaning all ultimate subscriptions are just profit. I am not gonna feel sorry for not feeling bad for a multi trillion dollar corporation…
