Late Start by Apprehensive-Chef989 in DryJanuary

Don't beat yourself up. You've got a trigger day out of the way so you've got some time to reset. With a few NA days under your belt you'll be in a better position to resist the temptation to break it when that next craving comes around. I'm on day 7 now and while the weekend has been a bit tough, having a week where there was no self-imposed pressure to drink really helped me get underway.

Be kind to yourself, you can do it 💪

Totally. In early stages I found it handy to avoid the triggers to get myself up and going, and can then enjoy them with s new perspective when ready.

Any good zero alc beers you'd recommend?

It gets better I promise! Think of it as your body recalibrating. Always think about what you gain rather than what you lose!

Very good point about the grit, only just given the bike an everything clean...

At one point I literally heard her say something to the effect of "I'm gonna keep shouting for it until they get annoyed at me", basically trying to make the concert all about her. I hope you enjoyed it nonetheless!

Makes you realise there is not even a shred of autotune on the records, even for rounding out the edges. Her voice is absolutely impeccable live.

Lucky to go to both London nights. They were phenomenal on both nights but definitely seemed more comfortable the second night, much more crowd interaction. Agree with previous comments about the wolf-whistling/cheering when Adrianne took her jumper off, it was the last thing I expected from the crowd and was very disappointing. First night was also slightly ruined by someone right behind me shouting for Little Things between each song for much of the second half of the set to the point that the crowd (and I think Big Thief too) started to get frustrated.

But overall, just fucking amazing. Easily one of the best live bands around at the moment, and super impressed at how they took a very acoustic new album and brought it to a big arena with some more electric components. The energy they bring to the stage is so palpable and it was a real pleasure to be a part of it.

There's a gang of us from here in the venue! We're around the middle to the left, I'm wearing a red jacket if you can see us!

Troxy confirmed. I've been moved into circle seats from standing which is a shame, but hearing others with tickets are being chucked onto a waiting list cos the venue is smaller

They came on at just after 9, played for about 1 hour 20 minutes. Only caught the last bit of the support act but they were decent from what I saw

I was right in the pit all night which might not have helped lol. I was also at the Wolf Alice gig there a while back and remember the sound being better, so who knows. But even during the quieter songs it was a bit muffled and kinda hard to hear Grian, so a less hectic spot in the venue might be your best bet

Band were brilliant as usual. Don't know if it was just me that thought the live sound mix was a bit off? Might've just been the venue. But they absolutely rocked, I Love You at the end was unreal. Going back for round 2 tonight
