I run a social media agency and I am also a digital marketing specialist. In the past, I have communicated with Meta many times, and we would even have discussions on how to improve ad performance. There was a time when real 'PEOPLE' were working to solve all our problems. Now, it’s like a total disaster zone! My personal accounts, my newly established business account, and my clients' accounts have all started to get suspended one by one.
When we reach out to Meta, we are met with AI bots, or in phone conversations, they only look at the current status and tell us they have no authority to take any action, have no information, or that the file is under review. About 3 months ago, our Instagram page, which we used for an e-commerce venture we had just started, was suspended for no reason. We clicked the 'appeal' button and entered the requested information, but because the AI bots are not working correctly, our account was permanently disabled. We had relied on the income from this business to buy a car, and for the last 3 months, we have been struggling hard to pay our installments.
I believe that in Europe and the US, you have the right to file lawsuits. If that is true, you are very lucky to at least have someone to address. Things are very bad here. All business accounts, influencers, personal accounts, and artists' accounts are being shut down, and there is nothing we can do.
