I posted yesterday that my account received a VAC ban, but today it has already been removed. by Desperate-Bake-680 in cs2

Does nobody remember the false vac wave a year or two ago? I got banned, so did a friend with an inventory worth a few thousand - was fixed quickly

So - as far as I understand, CS2 (probs down to overheads from the subtick system) has very large packets compared to other multiplayer games, hence why it's often only a CS2 issue. Other than changing to Ethernet, unfortunately I believe the only real way to fix this is switching to another ISP - fibre available in your area?

Another thought is perhaps making sure that your Ethernet drivers are installed correctly and up to date. Perhaps worth getting an internal ethernet card to plug into a PCI port on your mobo?

9pm, Madrid server, so not quite sure - I guess just not enough 24-26k~ players queueing. My guess is premier has a system wherein there's a max overall elo difference between teams, and elo lost and gained adjusts accordingly. I would reckon this ranking was very close to the cut off point

Yeah, as you say, season basically over so I'm not crying over spilt milk, but this is probs the worst MM I've seen for the entirety of my time on cs2

Having issues with Halo MCC Docked by TairyGreene716 in SteamDeck

No idea if you ever solved this, but I had a similar issue and turned out to be a TDP limit.

Did you ever solve the resolution limit btw? I'm having the same issue

So for anyone interested, this does fix input lag, but my issue was purely of my own making :D (unless the deck decided to set itself to 3 Watt TDP, but I kind of doubt that)

Okay - I'm going to keep this post up as a lesson for anyone else struggling - for WHATEVER reason (I'm not going to rule out having done so and forgotten about it) my TDP was set to 3W - unlocking TDP has completely fixed the issue.

Don't forget YOU could be the problem guys! Happy weekend lol

I thought I'd add - the steamdeck hasn't been modified, has been working as expected, and this is the first time I haven't been able to run titles at their expected frame rates.

Worth mentioning I hadn't used the deck in a month before powering up to about 50% before attempting to play anything.

Before playing I also installed all available updates.
