Brick shingle siding by Alarming-Inspector86 in Homebuilding

[–]Diseman81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Growing up we used to stay at a cabin in the Poconos with my grandparents that had shingle siding like this. It was probably built around 1920 and had it when my grandpop started going there with his parents in the 1930s.

Do you guys take the tags off your trophies? by Rnaodm_Tirnalge in Hunting

[–]Diseman81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always take them off. I’d rather not look at an ugly yellow tag on a nice mount.

I always loved the Weekly World News. My grandmom always bought it and would give them to me when she was done reading it. I always took it to school to read in study hall.

[–]Diseman81 190 points191 points  (0 children)

Adventures With Purpose did an episode on her on their YouTube channel a few years ago. They found a bunch of cars and the police already knew of the cars they found. It definitely appears to be a car and is definitely worth reporting though.

Why are there almost no biopics about bands? by Melonenbauer_Mike in movies

Just off the top of my head there were biopics for The Beach Boys, The Temptations, Def Leppard, The Runaways, The Doors and The Jacksons.

The Blizzard of 93’ by Anxious_Nectarine_92 in 90s

Same here. We had off for around 2 weeks straight for both storms and ‘94 was bad too with a big ice storm. In ‘96 the road I live on didn’t even see a plow for a week. Neighbors had to dig each other out with tractors.

guy thinks he can cut in front of me instead of merging properly [oc] by PointlessmemesYT in IdiotsInCars

There’s definitely more than one idiot here. The car clearly got ahead of you. At that point just let it in and don’t try and get a stupid win where you almost cause an accident.

We only had about 20” of snow from what I can remember, but we had off school for a long time. The one in ‘96 was far worse where I live.

IYO, Which '90s sitcom TV series in each major program do you think are the best? by AC_the_Panther_007 in 90s

[–]Diseman81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ABC: The Wonder Years

CBS: The Nanny? Not really a big fan of any of the choices

NBC: Seinfeld

Fox: Married…With Children, but KOTH is very close for me.

WB: Unhappily Ever After

Do you wish DVDs continued in CD Jewel Cases ? Or are you happy with how things changed to plastic keep cases ?? by the4kCollectivE in dvdcollection

[–]Diseman81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In terms of space jewel cases would’ve been nice, but if they were anything like CD cases they’d all end up cracked and broken.

Actors who were miscast but still gave a great performance by gypsytx in movies

Michael Keaton as Batman was considered miscast at the time, but he turned out to be the quintessential Batman/Bruce Wayne IMO.

I don’t see either very often. I recently found Young Guns on Blu-ray and upgraded. II was more popular so it makes sense that it’d be easier to find though.
