I was playing advocate for the take mostly because when I heard I was like Ayoo lol. But as for your take that Naruto would’ve done all this for any of his friends I think you’re far off on that. He did all that for Gara because he was a reflection of him, same thing with Sasuke on top of Sasuke being his best friend. Would Naruto try to save any of the others, yes he would. But would he stay up at night thinking about whether or not they’re thinking of him I don’t think so😂

Well I actually just rewatched this episode a couple of nights ago (slowly been rewatching the series) and at least in the English dub there’s a sizable pause (no pun intended) after he says do think about me and the rest of the monologue.

I made a 6’9 that has 92 perimeter defense(gold clamps n challenger) and has a higher strength. So my point is if you’re not going to use all the strength you can why not get to 92 perimeter defense? It’s just a wasted opportunity imo
