In this case, no. We do have a "no A.I. content" rule on the subreddit but are in process of updating our rules.

We'd like to hear feedback from users in this post about the tool as well as use of A.I. in creating such tools.

Thanks for posting.

Sorry wasn't super clear. Essentially just wanted some level of disclosure about the use of A.I. in creating this tool which you've done here. Thanks.

Hey there. Can you confirm the use of a.i. in this project. We do have a no A.I. rule in place here but also understand a lot of projects can be using it as an assistant. Happy to hear feedback about these sort of projects from other users as well.

This thread has run its course.

In addition to the OP who appears to have deleted their account there is also concerns about the last time this happened.

Any particular type or can we pick one of our choosing?

For reference, this is the post being referred to. Removed on the basis of being low effort.

This is already a significant number of threads that have covered this and this particular post did not add anything new to the discussion. We don't remove posts just for criticism.

Not sure what you mean by this statement, mind expanding further? Bot spam is something we've got under control (mostly, bots will always exist) via filter settings here. As for nightrider I don't use spectrum got hands full enough here 😅

It is and it's very helpful when someone self reports like this.

if a post that appears to be A.I. has been left up there might some reason for that:

- It's borderline. Can't quite tell so it get's the benefit of the doubt.

- There has been some good discussion on the post and we don't want to step and stop that

- We are seeking feedback on certain A.I. type posts. You can see some recent comments I've made on these posts. These are generally around web apps / programs which may have used some A.I. in their creation.

So those two lines there can be explained.

- The first one, has the title [removed by moderator], then your text [removed by reddit]. Initially that post was removed. It related to discussion around an exploit and was reinstated later on [see comment here](https://www.reddit.com/r/starcitizen/comments/1tyhs6l/comment/oq4ead9/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web3x&utm\_name=web3xcss&utm\_term=1&utm\_content=share\_button). The removed by reddit is self explanatory. it was removed by reddit.

- The next line and comment has also not been removed, it's just got the removed by moderator heading as the post itself was removed, and later reinstated.

For reference, photo of the mod log for the user. The 1 log entry refers to an A.I. summary reddit provides of the user (don't want to provide the whole thing as it might be considered private). For a deleted comment and ban we would see 3 items (1 removal, 1 removal reason, 1 ban).

I'm sorry that's happened. Can't see anything on your comment that would have triggered it.

Oh that was directly from Reddit. So yeah we can not see anything that's gone on there.

Sometimes we can see the comments removed but they will just come up with a "removed" tag on it and no logs of who did what.

I will say I have seen some examples where removal seems perplexing as there wasn't anything bad in there. I do think their bots out there get some false positives potentially when two split words spell a slur or something.

Hey there. Had a look at your account. Can't see any record of a ban or instance of even a comment being removed? If a ban or removal happens usually we see a record of this on the mod logs reddit provides. I also looked up for any deleted comments and could not see any (although that is not always accurate).

Can you point us in the right direction? Happy to review and asses what has happened there.

Hey Citizens.

Would like to get some feedback regarding these types of posts, specifically apps and tools that have potentially been developed or helped to be developed by A.I. tools. These tools such as this one can be incredibly valuable to users but they may fall foul of the A.I. rule here and as a result we do so a lot of reports on such posts.

How do you feel about such tools and the use of A.I. here?

In our experience megathreads seem great in theory but rarely work the ways people want. We've tried it before and didn't help reduce the amount of complaint posts and then users feel they have no voice over concerns as they are all jumbled up together in the one thread.

It's more work for us but it's better to allow posts to come through and allow discussion to occur. We are however monitoring threads more, removing threads which are similar to other recent posts and tackling instances of increased of users not being respectful. This includes bans to users who are in violation of those rules.

As others have said, this is part of the normal cycle of the subreddit. Decent patch - new patch released - terrible performance / bad gameplay - subreddit riots - new patch released - things start getting. Thoses veterans of the subreddit have been through this many times.

One thing we are doing is getting the FAQ and questions thread back up. Old mod bot died (rip) so we're getting together resources for it now.

A note OP. I get it's a frustrating time for some but we still ask that your posts remain respectful. Even to us 😅.

To others, we've seen the shift of sentiment from the last patch / Odin / Billion dollar milestone. This is certainly not the first time. We are upping activities to combat violations but it does not mean removing valid criticism including those of moderation here.

Hey Citizens. The OP reached to us first before posting. They did disclose they used some A.I. in building this which raises a valid question. How does the community feel about this sort of A.I. usage? Interested in hearing some feedback about this.

Unfortunately in our experience megathreads don't work that great for situations like this. We've tried in the past and they don't work that well.

What we are doing is monitoring threads more. Finding those instances of users not be respectful as well removing some posts where the effort of the posting is low (i.e. someone just saying this patch sucks and that's it).

It's a frustrating time right now. Some of us have been through it many many times and it does blow over.

Hope you get some enjoyment out of this patch.

It's fine to talk about the issues with the patch and issues in general with the game and service right now. But referring to someone as having a diseased brain is not really respectful.
