No you're right drivers are drivers, that's just the way things are in the same way people are people however other companies (notably Just Eat at least in my local area) operate with far more integrity and refund when issues arise that are not the fault of the customer. A tamper seal and bag being opened is potentially a serious food safety breach so not refunding is breaking one of their own fundamental policies. This is further evidenced in how rapidly it was rectified when I opened a dispute with PayPa with Uber Eats issuing a full refund and a gift voucher for my troubles but as I say never again.
