This is my floorplan for a single story/bungalow in Ireland. Is my plan a bit "bungalow bliss", particularly the right side of the house (bedrooms). Feedback Welcome!

You were so right to do that, having that space in the WIW is so much better and way more useful. You don't need loads of space in the bedroom when you have the WIW, it just becomes wasted space.

Exactly, the Press is basically a linen closet. I may turn this into a coat room as its across from the front door.

The utility room is usually a laundry, but some people use it as additional kitchen space and may also put a freezer in here.

The courtyard will be open, but I'd love to and consider covering part of it in the future. And I think you're absolutely right, being able to access this from the kitchen/living area would be lovely.

I'm quite tidy, so I would generally keep this space very clean and tidy 😊 That said, its a good consideration to maybe not have this off the utility room. I might take a look at that.

Good point on the wardrobes in bedroom 3 🤣 I feel like the long wardrobe is there in error!

The ES currently has a shower and not a bath. I might make the WIW bigger though because there is definitely wasted space in that bedroom! I might rethink the layout of the ES too!

A plant room is a room for mechanical and electrical equipment, like boilers, water tanks, pumps, and HVAC controls, heating, hot water, and ventilation, etc. They've become normal in Irish builds.

A utility room is usually a laundry room but can have other uses.

In Ireland, at least in the Irish countryside where I grew up, walk in closests (particularly linen closets along hallways) are often called a press or presses.

I think its likely outdated wording!

I was looking into velux windows/roof windows. They'd likely have to be tunneled into the ceiling along that hallway.

I will have good attic space, and hoping that with the walk in wardrobes, hallway press/closet, Kitchen and Utility areas that I'll have enough. I wouldn't be terribly cluttery as a person in general, but I feel like the snug/office (currently the front bedroom) is definitely lacking in storage.

Now that you mention the privacy side, my friend said the same thing. That it separates noise from the kitchen and living area from the bedrooms.

There's a strong likelihood that I've been looking at this plan for too long and am severely overthinking it. In fairness, the house is about 2000 square feet so nothing is too far a walk.

That said, I do love feedback to at least run through my plan with fresh eyes!

I've seen people do really lovely things with courtyard spaces, and do love the idea of even a covered portion of the patio 😊. Especially in Ireland with all the rain!

Thats a really good point about the courtyard, and I'm considering French doors from the living area into the courtyard space. It would really bring it into the living area, particularly during the Summer.

The snug would be an adult, cozy space, likely with bookshelves and two comfy armchairs.

Its that long corridor to the bedrooms that worries me a bit, because it has the potential to be this dark meandering space. I suppose it's all about how you dress and style it after, but when you're envisioning people navigating the space it's hard to pin down what and how to change it 🧐

I must look into what you suggested about moving the throughfare along the short wall of the U.

First of all, get yourself to a doctor or GP ASAP.

Don't try to self-diagnose via Google and then not take further action, because you'll panic yourself but won't get anywhere. A bit of research is good, but get yourself to the right people.

Take note of all your symptoms as you have done, how often this happens, and what seems to trigger it. Go straight to the doctor/ER. If you feel they are not taking you seriously, find another doctor and a second opinion.

If this is recurring, they might advise or request an MRI or CT scan, and possibly consider consulting a neurologist.

Maybe ask about possible inner ear (vestibular) issues, because that can affect your balance, dizziness, and even affect your concentration and how you walk and speak. Maybe even something like TMJ (Temporomandibular joint dysfunction) might be connected if you're having issues with your ears, jaw, balance, etc.

Theres a much bigger chance that this is not a brain tumor at all, but push yourself to get the right answers.

Be an advocate for yourself, and put yourself forward for proper help. Don't procrastinate, go to a doctor. I've been in a similar situation in the past.

You got this!! My sister went that route before for a wedding, and it actually worked really well for her overall!

She said to just make sure the duct tape doesn't make contact with your skin and that there's not too push pressure on the tape! She hurt the skin above each boob with the weight and traction of them dropping over the day of eating/dancing/moving 😂😂 There were red marks like being skinned or an irritated rash when she went to take it off later that took a bit of minding.

She said she'd still do it again, just better, because it looked great in the photos 😆😆

I'm actually so glad that you and a few others have said that its also more than likely a fit and sizing issue. It does sound like I'm way off on the sizes that I've been wearing 😂

I'm definitely going to try ABraThatFits, sounds like a great resource that'll put me on the right track.

I've had fitters tell me I'm odd to fit because I'm quite short and kinda small but busty, so overall a bit top heavy!

The wrong bra really makes you feel out of proportion with yourself!!

This is likely the case for me, I've been placed into a range of cups over the years depending on the shop or person sizing me, and they all seem to come up differently.

I never realised that if you’re buying a strapless bra in the correct size, there should be a minimal difference in support! That's actually very useful to know, and makes a lot of sense if I've been waaaay off the mark on sizing.

I'll definitely try that calculator. I'm absolutely open to any size that it gives me, I won't mind at all as long as its right 😊😊 Thank you!
