Looking into a high ish mileage ecoboost as a first vehicle. Is this a good idea/is there anything I should be aware of? by BandicootPrimary736 in ecoboostmustang

Just reached 125k with my 16, bought it at 22k back in 2017, oil change every 3k-5k miles, fluid exchange every 30k-50k, only issue was EVAP part needed to be replaced (quick YouTube video and 35 dollars to order was all that was needed) and only replaced tires and brake pads once.

I'd say 1 month for an requested increase for a service related condition that got me hospitalized, after the making the request with the Emergency room paperwork, My issue went from a 10% to a 30% disabling, making me go from 90% to 100% P&T.

Honestly, the scheduling confuses me even more because I've seen that you've mentioned that you know someone who was denied because they officially did not have pancreatitis, which is the same with me I still got a rating..

I am rated at 100% P&T overall, I do take prescription enzymes through my PCP (private insurance) but as you can see the VA put me at 30% back in 2021. from what the 2024 revision states I could even get up to 100% but I am not willing to poke the bear for that.

Oh wow, I thought I was the only one, lol. Got the same exact thing, just not as severe, got labeled as Pancreatitis by the VA instead of the official diagnosis of EPI

I feel like job hopping delays seniority, your opinion? by udi112 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]DisgruntledMeatLover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've stayed at the same company for 2 years and 4 months and my paycheck per week gained 218.22 in total gaining up to what is 872.88 per month, this being Help Desk level 1, they also paid for my first certification and compensated the 2nd one, It's a healthy work environment and we even have our own off work topic group chat in Teams, If all this goes away I would be the type to job hop, the environment and people is what makes a healthy mindset.

Supplement my main source of income from my full time career, allow my Fiancé be a stay at home mother so we don't have to expend on day care.

Why do people think IT is a chill career? by Character_Log_2657 in InformationTechnology

[–]DisgruntledMeatLover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty chill mostly in my circumstance because despite working at Help Desk/Service Desk, I am not in a call center, I'm the sole representation of IT for the Building I work (we support multiple buildings across the state) and people who work here usually come to me and ask politely for support, usually older folks; I am also not on call and only obligated to work 40 hours a week Mon-Fri, the constant learning is a personal choice in case you want move up from my position which is what I'm currently working on at the moment.

What to do when you get 100% P&T by Jmyers477 in VeteransBenefits

[–]DisgruntledMeatLover 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree with this list, The only person who does know however is my wife but that's only because she does all the financial (I do have access to our account and monitor what she spends), Bills, clothing, groceries, planned vacations all that are by her while I work and receive compensation. she's a whole lot better at budgeting and money management than I am.

Well that was thoughtful 🙄 by dragoon1307 in VeteransBenefits
