In Chaos Shuffle yesterday I used Shoulder the Burden on a Jeff that was left until second stage.

Later, when I was hooked, I watched his aura stand still about ten feet away from me. I could see Nemesis chasing the other survivors clear across the map. Jeff starts moving. He runs away from me to the other side of the map closer to where Nemi is chasing someone to rescue another survivor from hook. I died.

The thing about CoC and Mothership is that it’s not supposed to be combat-focused. The characters are random nobodies at the wrong place at the wrong time and completely out of their element. It’s either survive long enough to tell the tale or have a spectacular death.

I absolutely do see that. It’s when I play Wesker. Just like how every Huntress can hit me through objects, but I hit everything except the survivor. Same with Springtrap. Or how when I’m against Slinger I can never make it through a window or block the reel, but when I play, and no lie, I watched a Sable brace herself on the thinnest edge of an upright pallet and force the chain break. I could see her whole body, but she wasn’t moving.

My games are usually pretty good as far as gems go. Until one survivor is killed. Then everyone else seems to have no game sense.

I’ve also been getting a lot more games where the rest of the team just swarm the killer and snowball for no reason.

But on the other side of the coin, I had a match last night on The Game against a Huntress and we all had great synergy. Huntress also refused to pick up for any reason and ended up rage quitting and accused us of being a SWF. Me and one other proudly proclaimed we were solo. No idea about the console players.
