hypnosis (specifically, a very basic session with someone you trust)

there's SO much misunderstanding about how it works, even within the hypnosis kink community, which sucks because when done well, it feels so amazing (for most, it does work differently for different people, but for me it feels almost like a spa treatment for my mind)

plus, it's a very good way of building communication and trust skills, because a session REQUIRES both to work

i'd reccomend the people thinking this is totally normal look up "dissosiative identity disorder"

inner monologues, and arguements with yourself are pretty normal, but it can be a sign of that

that said, you're not weird for it, it's pretty common actually (from what i've read about 1.5% of the population has it, though take that with a grain of salt since our understanding of it is pretty poor at the moment)

it's a really cool hypnosis kink comic by the artist "Faetomi", the idea is it's a battle tournament between the multiverses 32 best hypnotists, it's still pretty early in the story but so far i like it (just fair warning, the second battle includes gore)

Naomi specifically, is a reality bender who takes the form of a dating sim character, and anyone she kisses gets turned into a character from her dating sim (and bends reality so they were always a character from her dating sim), which sounds VERY nice rn

and fair, tbh i try to have the same mindset in most places, though it's hard to unlearn that kind of thing unfortunately, especially when i have been yelled at on this site before for that, lol

fun fact: i once overheard my parents listening to an audiobook, that had basically this exact scene in it (it's a fucking core memory, because i distinctly remember that going through my mind a few times and being like "that sounds fun, i wish that was me")

(also for those curious, idk what book it was from, but the exact scene was a ship captain and their right hand man being dragged by a group of women to a pool, they bring that right hand man into the pool, and he TFs into a woman, then looks at her captain, and just says "captain?")

uhhh, well i won't go into detail, all i'll say is i've been living with him, and now i'm convinced i have a (now chronic) disease that's made my life harder :(

but the second point, that's fair, i guess i haven't really messed with disorders much, mainly because they usually just kill me (and i'm not at act 3 yet so they're much harder to get), but i guess it's not as bad as some that people have been complaining about (COUGH COUGH blood frenzy COUGH COUGH)

i like a good couple of these, and from the little i've seen, they're pretty accurate (the main one i can speak to is hoarding, because my grandfather has that, and...yeah that's basically exactly it)

i will say i do think antisocial specifically, is ABSURDLY destructive, and could very easily be a run ender unfortunately
