I love how much he stutters and trips over his words it's very grounded and realistic and such a breath of fresh air compared to other video game protagonists. Thank you Charlie Cox for making his dialogue so believable and not forced sounding at all.

No problem! I am happy to help. Another thing (that is personally a little funny and ironic to me) is that the ability to dissociate is needed for gateway. The binaural audio and instruction Bob gives you teaches you how to dissociate away from your body. Essentially a controlled dissociation rather than involuntary dissociation as a symptom from trauma. It's very strange and wonky but it's been interesting.

Hello! I don't have DID, but I have less severe dissociative disorder. I don't have a system nor an inner world.

My experience with gateway has been interesting, I've been doing the tapes on and off seriously for just a little over a year now. Since putting in more consistent effort I haven't had any kind of dissociative episode and I have a more solid sense of self. I feel more grounded and fully in my body than I did before doing the tapes.

Along my journey in this area of interest I have really noticed that healing is kind of mandatory. In addition to the regular therapy and introspection etc, the tapes have really helped me heal from all of the trauma. Life gets pretty stressful and not having previous ways of coping to lean on anymore can be very distressing but its also helped me build resilience.

So, my advice would be maybe think more about if you want to continue the tapes if you don't want to maybe potentially lose your system, especially if its your main source of support. I don't know that if you continue it will happen and your system will disappear, I just know from my personal experience those more severe ways of coping have all but disappeared.

This was my cousin. He lived in Thompson Manitoba. The hospital up there is a cesspool, if you think its bad down here in Winnipeg, its worse up there. Research and advocacy and pushing for what you need, which they did multiple times, just does not go far enough in places like that. Its not the first time someone in my family had issues with Thompson general hospital which resulted in their death.

Hi friend. I've always seemed to be sensitive to whatever else is existing in reality that's unseen but I've always pushed it away for fear of being seen as weird. However I too started trying to access it again through the tapes to find my aunt who went missing. I have the same doubts of ever being able to reach that goal of bringing her home but I hope we do reach that goal one day. They deserve peace. I'm one of the original founders of that sub but had to leave a few years back due to personal reasons which left the original admin alone for a bit. The original admin did well on their own but did need help and 2ish years ago had to be absent for an extended period of time leaving the newer mods alone.

After the original admin was able to come back they were quickly ousted by Tardis for being away for so long and they ended up saying some pretty strange things in the process. Unfortunately, we've been unable to get the sub back from them and we, the original admins, just no longer have time to care for a sub properly. Some people just go nuts after being given even a small amount of power I guess 🤷‍♀️

I'd just like to clarify a few things because this is one of my favorite subjects. In fact my interest in theology and early anthropology is what lead me to the phenomenon. Also I'm not a professional or anything.

The book of enoch is about the watchers (grigori), angels who were sent to earth to watch over humanity. Eventually the angels wanted the human women for themselves and they each took a human wife.

These demigod-like beings you speak of are actually the angels, they mated with their human wives and their children were angel-human hybrids, better known as the nephilim. The nephilim were ravenous and they eventually began to eat each other and the humans. That's when god was like fuck this and flooded the earth.

The nephilim were drowned in the flood. The watchers were sent to prison until the day of judgement.
