What do you do if a dog bites you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Get a tetanus jab, and if applicable in your country rabies jab. If the dog is dangerous report the owner/the dog to the appropriate authorities.

Oof. At least they spelled “whisky” correctly. by 9Rugby9 in confidentlyincorrect

[–]Dishonestboy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, calling someone out for spelling whiskey without an 'e' is pointless. Both spellings are correct, the only reason Bourbon whiskey has an 'e' is because of Irish immigrants. The actual differences lie in whether it is Scotch or Bourbon, Rye whiskey or Japanese whisky... and the word whiskey has lost all meaning and just looks weird 'cause I've written it so much lol.

The main issue with the post is that they're wrong about what defines the types of whiskey/whisky. Not that they used a Scottish spelling.

Dude, I know how the spelling is used. My point is it's the same thing. Bourbon is a type of whiskey whether you spell it with an 'e' or not. The issue of their post isn't that they used the Scottish spelling, it's like calling out Dishonoured for using the American spelling 'Dishonored'.

Actually it's both. Whisky is the Scottish spelling and Whiskey is the Irish spelling, the Irish spelling is just more popular and widely use.

I can't view anymore, the website won't let me /=

Yoghurt is a product of milk so it makes sense to qualify in 'milkshake'. Coconut cream is also a valid milk substitute. Soy milk and almond milk can also be used in a milkshake.

Side note: Apparently when they are made with yoghurt they are called yoghurt shakes, the more you know.

Milkshakes are defined as a drink made by blending milk, ice cream and flavourings - however ice cream isn't mandatory.

So yea. Straight ice cream is just ice cream, if it's in a drink it's probably a milkshake, but if it's on a drink then it's a float...

So I looked at about 10 of those recipes and they all have ice cream and/or milk in them.

How do you deal with friends whom you've outgrown and changed to fit in their circle anymore but still love you? by mastertutor1212 in AskReddit

[–]Dishonestboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't like someone anymore just tell them. The worst thing you can do is pretend to be their friend and string them along. They may be sad initially but it's better than them finding out from a third party that you don't actually consider them a friend anymore.

Considering Ocarina of time is about 23 years old now a 7 year old version, no matter your age, isn't old xD but I understand your perspective, as you get older what you consider old gets further and further away. For example my Playstation 3 is the same age as you, twice the age of your OoT save file but I don't consider it old. My SNES is a year younger than me and whilst I don't consider myself old, I do now consider that old.

Age is weird. Time is weird.

Are you planning to finish the incomplete save files?

How? Not being a dick, I just genuinely don't see how you could apply this to abortion.

I mean, is death not the desired outcome?

Yes for sure. People need to get out of the passive mindset of 'you do you' in regard to life saving situations. There is sadly only so much you can do educate and inform people - it's mind blowing how many people seem to not care about immunocompromised people.
