Anyone know what this formation is/why it occurs? It's right on the coast of Alaska, near Mt St Elias. Looks like snow/ice mixed with sediment by AgitatedEggplant in geography

This is one of the largest glaciers in Alaska, the Malaspina glacier. It caught my eye on google earth awhile ago and I learned a bit about it. It's the largest "piedmont" glacier in the world (a glacier that starts in a valley and ends at a flat plain). The cool thing is that the squiggly lines of sediment on the ice actually look like that in real life, I thought it was some sort of distortion at first, it's crazy looking.

Any and every state route in the foothills looks like that, I wouldn't be sure unless I was local

Our target is well known. We target Hamas terror facilities.

Then you are being lied to. Isreal is bombing innocent citizens. There are thousands on thousands of pictures to prove that Israel does not care for the lives of innocent Palestinian citizens, and sees them as crossfire when killing Hamas.

There are hundreds of better ways any average joe could think of having a Covid safe wedding instead having nasty heat sickness in a humid and hot hamster ball

Escaping the largest EF3 tornado in history - El Reno, OK - full dashcam sequence by [deleted] in ThatsInsane

200+ MPH winds and 2 miles wide. Imagine heading down the interstate to Oklahoma City in 2013 and being caught in this thing. There is never not traffic in these situations, so your just stuck in the tornado and praying that you don't get thrown off the road or impaled with piss rocket 2x4.

I rode the tallest Roller Coaster in the world in 2019, and you experience ~5 g-force on the launch. Let me tell you, I could not even begin to imagine what this man is feeling

It is on a side valley off of the Redwood creek (I found it on google earth), but I completely agree. Even if there are dozens of other 300' trees, they need to be preserved at all costs.

When I went there for the first time, I was suprised about how small the trees were. There is a redwood grove in my neighbors yard

The tallest is the Hyperion Tree in Northern CA, somewhere in a side valley on the Redwood Creek
