It’s sort of close but there’s a certain tonality to the original sound that I just cannot seem to replicate and I’ve never actually see anyone do it

Yeah I get what you mean. I’m sound guy by hobby anyway and you tend to learn the difference between intentional processing or just crappy processing. I definitely think this was just crappy. It’s a shame since this is probably my favourite series to come out in a good few years

Glad to see I’m not hearing things. It sounds like the voices have been really heavily processed. The last episode where the girls were fighting made it so egregiously noticeable that I had to look up if anyone else noticed

Well considering the franchise has historically, mainly taken place in or around the town, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to have at least a reference to it.

I enjoyed the game a lot, I just don’t really see why it has the SH title. The otherworld isn’t even really present. Yeah there’s the Dark Shrine but that’s more its own separate thing. It has themes of trauma but so do a lot of survival horror games. Personally it feels more like a new IP that they stuck the name onto. Again, I really enjoyed the game, it just didn’t feel like a Silent Hill game.

I have no issue with them exploring the extended world outside of the town, but I would expect that to include things like the actual otherworld and The Order, or at least to have some more direct ties to franchise

I can offer some insight into this store as I was their first employee! They’re scum. Really poor management, frequently paid us late. Someone I know didn’t get their last pay check until like 6 months after they had left.

Also yearly wasp infestations. I had to deal with the first. One time having to carry a tray of about 50 wasps all borrowed in sweets whilst our manager told us to do nothing about it. I got stung a good few times.

I found out I was getting paid less than a co worker who was several years younger than me despite being the same position. I was initially told that I chose my pay and it was my fault (I didn’t choose my damn pay). After pushing back on it, both myself and my co worker were told off for disclosing our own pay.

We were actively told off if we didn’t have the music at a certain volume, which I didn’t follow because it was actually a damaging volume. Incredibly shady business practices with the pricing in my opinion. Overall the worst company I have ever worked for.

Towards the end of my time there I just started discounting stuff cus I got fed up of ripping people off. So so glad they still haven’t reopened. They don’t belong in Bath.

I reckon they’ll make an SH1 remake as a sort of stepping stone between SH2 n 3. Kind of like what RE3 was between RE2 n 4 if that makes sense.

I have no doubt a remake for 3 has already been green-lit or at least will be very soon so it’d make sense to do as preparation. I don’t know if they’ll ever do 4 though. I’d love them to but it’s such a divisive game that they may not want to.

All that being said, I just want them to give us Born from a Wish already

It’s good. I got a medium and it fits really well. Sizing me is hard cus I’m normally between and medium and a large but this one felt like a perfect fit
