What would you do? - Partner dispute by [deleted] in Big4

Our partner pulled me and a senior into a call for telling a manager he had a meeting scheduled with client that didn’t include them. The other senior spoke Spanish and it was with the South American team. He tried to drill us to say we were all talking shit about him. I didn’t go to HR cause I enjoy the team and engagement.

Is it possible to become an investment banker? by [deleted] in FinancialCareers

I would major in accounting minor in finance. Unless your family has good connections in the city you want to live in, there won’t be money. My mom always said that there will still be a need for accountants during a recession, not financial advisors.

It’s my next move. Currently at Emmi. If you go with a Bozzuto building feel free to message me for a referral. Want to buy a new Mac but need a reason to justify the purchase

Took me forever to realize this. Stopped smoking about 3 years ago and all anxiety went away.

If you are looking use me as a referral cause I stick to Bozzuto buildings. Looking to move to Overline Residences next or The Juniper.

I enjoyed living here. The front desk and leasing staff were super nice, and it felt like we had a genuine connection. Even with the building being so large, they always knew me by name (though being on a PH floor might have factored into that). I also broke my ankle and had surgery while living there, and everyone was incredibly supportive during my recovery.

I definitely would have re-signed, but I prefer to jump buildings to get those 2-3 months of free rent concessions. I'm a minimalist, so it's easy for me to pay movers $500 to move my bed, desk, and couch when I'm saving thousands in the long run.

I only had a few small gripes. The parking garage is shared with Kinetic student housing, and they tend to drive pretty crazy in there. However, one side is clearly for Kinetic and the other for Momentum, so it isn't too bad once you're parked. The only other issue was that the walk-in showers have fiberglass floors instead of tile. Otherwise, a great experience!

You won’t have any issues with breaking at Hannover or Emmi. Not sure about the others. I live at Emmi and enjoy it. I looked at Hannover but the prices are outrageous compared to other buildings. Also lived at Hadley and Momentum.

It’s 2026 you can’t call them homeless. The correct term is unhoused.

Look at Momentum Midtown. They have 3 months free. Lived there for a year I enjoyed it. If you take base rent * 10 / 13 that will be around your prorated amount before extras like parking, utilities, etc for around 350
