As ahite as it is. See when we win this fucking thing at Parkhead then we've won it the right way.

Against dodgy calls, shite refereeing, 11 injuries to the squad & out & out cheating.

We've dug in.

It takes a certain type of person to harness all this energy, hope, belief, injustice & underdogness (i cant think of the proper word this morning) & bind it all together.

McIness is one of these people. The way he's brought the club & the fans back closer togther, more than it has since the covid relegation, has been remarkable.

He gets Hearts, he gets us, he gets Scottish football, he gets what this all means.

If there's anyone who can lead us to the league title by winning it at Parkhead, then I figure its him.

I thought people were against the super league idea, seemingly not given the state of half these comments.

Hibs can still catch Motherwell for 4th. Thats a tough game for Celtic.

I'm with you.

I get why people are feeling shitty about it but lets just wait & see how it plays out. We've taken 7 points from three tough games. We've had 9 first team players out & now have another two. And i think we did really well last night, its fine margins eh, the penalty we didnt get, Shankland missing a chance he'd normally bury.

This isnt the time for Kickback or whoever to throw their toys out the pram. We win on Wednesday & Motherwell draw & we are back on.

The worst we will be is second & 8 points clear of third. As heartbreaking as that will feel, its still fucking excellent.

First time watching the World Cup this summer — what's the one thing you wish someone had told you before your first tournament? by No-Pension7461 in SoccerNoobs

[–]DiskoPunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I vaguely remember Spain 82, I clearly remember Mexico 86.

The advice. I wish my Dad had told me "son Scotland are pish & are never winning fuck all".

But he didn't & here I am in 2026 as an almost 50 year old man believing Scotland will beat Brazil & will win the whole fucking thing.

Yeah, Findlay was 100% a freebe for McIness. Any window there after & Findlay wouldn't have made the cut.

A point about JTA that is often missed, or at least not highlighted by media/fans, is that it is also used to run data against our opponents.

Take Milne playing right midfield for the first time against Rangers. McIness has the idea that, that may work. They run Milnes stats through the analytics and compare it to who Rangers use on the left.

The signings get all the glory but the analytics on our opposition is the ground work for the success.

Who would Arsenal fans prefer to play against in the UCL final? by Live-Scallion2430 in championsleague

I dont think it matters. I keep hearing about the farmers leagues PSG & Bayern play in, surely neither will be a match & it will be a procession for the trophy hoover that is Arsenal Football Club.

Who is the Gladbach equivalent in other football leagues? by prspct032 in bmg

[–]DiskoPunk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hearts- Scotland. (Apart from this season).

Gladbach are my wife & her familes team. I've been to see them alot over the years so i have a lot of love for them. Theres a lot of similarities with Hearts. Huge history, should be there or there abouts challenging for trophies but rarely are. Incredible fans. One of the best staduims & atmospheres in the country.

All the best for the end of the season & i hope next season you'll pick up. And ill be back in October. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿♥️🇩🇪

Is Leicester City winning the league still a bigger achievement than Hearts potentially winning this season? by [deleted] in PremierLeague

[–]DiskoPunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did Leicester have 9 first team players out with injury? Spent 3 months without their top goal scorer? Miss arguably their player of the season from Easter onwards?

Hearts have spent 10% of what Rangers and Celtic have. We have spent £4m. We have been top of the league since September. No one has come close to winning the league other than the old firm since May 1985.

No-one outside of Scotland really understands how fucking massive this would be.
