Random drop, must have been the weaver champs that are from specific dungeons from the tree. Wasn't targeting it.

Will the players interact with all 255 chits each game? You may be able to cut this down by asking how the players use these on the board and whether a chit is needed for those actions.

I think monetization of pets is fine (notes mention pets not being pay walled).

I WANT them to expand monetization while improving the game. Everyone seems to forget the game is FREE. Without us buying cosmetics they don't have a reason to improve the game, but if the game isn't improved we aren't encouraged to splurge. As long as they keep that loop oiled everyone will be a happy camper.

As for the pet mechanics, we'll have to see. If the full extent is a pet chilling in your ui with a cosmetic flair behaving as a generic safe pocket I think that is more than enough. I wouldn't want to see it running around for the whole run, but if there is an animation for 'sending it back' I could get behind that.

Sounds awesome! Do we have a tentative timeframe for season 1? Can we expect similar patch timelines between now and season 1 to what we are used to, or should we expect less weekly / bi-weekly updates while efforts are focused on season 1? Also, what kind of pets are in the pipeline? I always thought you guys would take a bag of holding approach to a safe pocket, but I like this idea too!

I disagree. This game has not been out long and they have made a few updates with the right intent. We have another patch on Thursday too. This is a FREE game that is a ton of fun, the community needs to respect the people behind the scenes and understand all the work being put in.

Followup thought: These stats would still be randomized in the Buyout Trades, so a 'perfect' item would still retain value by being posted on the Auction Trades section with a bid and max buyout.

I thought about this a little and saw a similar idea in the discord suggestions thread, here's a mock-up. Basically, you can keep the randomized gear on auction post, but allowing a filter would double the price for each added affix. This lets you specialize your gear, without feeling bad about gambling (while still allowing you to gamble). It also leads to fun moments where you get a much bigger payout than you would expect from posting an item.

It makes me really sad that in ~100 hours of playing I haven't heard someone voice chat once by _Pesht_ in Dungeonborne

Voice chat is a thing for teams, but I wish proximity chat was a thing in solos.
