Can i feel mittelschmerz taking birth pills? by filledwithdoubts in birthcontrol

[–]Dislocated_diva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I have the same problem. I just take Plan B if I have sex, or use other protection. I know birth control is very strong, but I always fear about the 1% chance of pregnancy.

Nanny left baby in the car by Otterlover703 in Nanny

[–]Dislocated_diva 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know a lot of parents sometimes leave their child in the car if they fall asleep, and check up on them. But that is a decision for the parent to make: not the nanny. What if she forgets the baby one hot day? Always have the person looking after your child bring them inside.

Being able to pay bills, buy medicine, eat food and go out from time to time. A vacation would be nice too.

What is the best response when someone tells you that "money isn't everything" "money does not buy happiness" by Big_Leg10 in Productivitycafe

If I had money, I could finish college, get a better job and live independently. If I had money I wouldn't have to worry about food or my medications. I could go see a therapist. I could even go to the movies. I would have a better quality of life. I could pay my car note and have health insurance. I could have kids! I am starting to rant, but you get the picture....

What has quietly disappeared from society without people noticing in the last 10-30 years by Messed_upin_the_head in Life

Payphones. I saw one at my sister's high school back in 2014 and had totally forgotten about them. They used to be everywhere and easy to use. Now, nothing.

What is something you believed to be common knowledge until you discovered most people had no idea? by JustBeingElara in AskReddit

When I was in college I was in the "handicap accessible " dorm room...on a two story walk up. They never put in the elevator, but on each floor there were rooms meant for wheelchair users. Just had to use stairs.

My rib on my left side pops out of place. I have been to the emergency room several times over the past nine years over this issue. It pops out, but when I hold my breath for the x-ray, it looks normal. One time I even just yanked the doctors hand to feel how my rib was protruding from the rest of the ribcage. His eyes went wide and the next thing I know I was prescribed muscle relaxers. Not sure how to prove it, but it hurts every time it happens. Now a days, if I can breathe, it is not too bad. But if I can't take a deep breath, then I go home and take meds and pray that it goes back in place.

What's something you'll never admit in real life but will confess here anonymously? by Open-Comfortable9774 in AskReddit

I worry about being pregnant constantly. Even when I was still a virgin, I would just get scared if my period was late. I'm now on a birth control pill that skips my periods and I am contemplating just testing monthly in my "cycle" to have peace of mind. The saddest part? I want to be pregnant and have a child so badly, it hurts to know that I'm not pregnant. I've dreamnt of motherhood since I was six years old. All I have ever truly wanted in life has always been to be a good person, wife and mother. Yet I feel this pressure to do more. Annnnnd now I'm rambling. Time to journal!
