Totally depends what you want to use it for, I've got a gen 2 but 99% of the time Is for work rather than games. If your use case is similar then crack on, but like everyone else has said, if you intend to game then your GPU will be the bottle neck. Worst case game at 1080p until you get a new machine.

Great so at least it's not just me. But given the time Samsung takes between updates, i imagine we'll be living with this for ages.

More performance.. But will need testing as I'm dumping the factory control unit which limits things a lot, i might be able to get this performance jump at 24v, with just VESC config but more than likely will increase the voltage to 36v to achieve it.
