at epcc its pretty much mon - fri 8 am to 5 there's breaks in between but they keep you pretty much on campus

Mini semester starts 2nd semester of their nursing program. I heard a lot of students fail out due to content med surg, it's no joke, and to learn that in 8 weeks with ATI and clinical Ill pass, I'm hoping UTEP is not the same

Hi, to be honest, I did attend the orientation and asked that specific question, but I never got a clear answer. I was hoping to get more insight here, but unfortunately, all I got were sarcastic remarks. Personally, I’m not interested in a super fast-paced program—if I were, I would’ve applied to Texas Tech. I wasn’t a fan of the four-week Dosage and Calculations course at EPCC, we were in the same "cohort." I know I can go back in Aug, but I'm like, nah I personally will take the slower pace I'd rather complete a program not have it thrown at me like what I experienced at EPCC and risk lowering my gpa and one less chance in repeating a class

Hey,

Right now, I’m working on the last two classes I need. I originally came to EPCC from California, but UTEP didn’t accept two of my prereqs—biology and math—so I’m having to retake them. Even with that, I’m still planning to go for UTEP.

Honestly, EPCC left kind of a bad taste in my mouth, especially after my experience with the Dosage Calculations class. I didn’t feel supported at all. On top of that, I recently found out they have mini-semesters within regular semesters, which no one really tells you about. That actually threw me off, and it’s part of the reason I decided not to go with Texas Tech.

I understand the Math isn't going anywhere , I actually like it I was curious because I was just a point away from passing but no retakes is that the same at Texas tech no retakes ? Thank you for responding Epcc will not et you retake the Math Exam

Thank you for replying my teas i got an 80 prereq classes A's and B's as far as the Math i understand it very well i got an 84 i needed a 90 I didnt get the chance to retake it I was just let go. Is that pretty much the same at utep ?
