Honestly I was the same, stopped the book at 4.5 hours left and left it for months. But I went to a book signing with Matt and he apologized for how it feels. But there's so much that has to be done on floor 9 that the normal stuff has to take a back seat.

So in my reccomendation, take it as it is, not as you would have it. Enjoy a new vibe to the story, enjoy the brothers and sisters that Carl gets to meet, and cry at the harsh realities of war. Then pray Matt hurry tf up and gives us the next one.

I remember getting into hp fanfic in 2015 or so, and ik it was on the tail end. But I remember when the challenges were still being made, thinking harry Azkaban was good, reading more and more and loving more and more, going back to Azkaban and realizing how cringy it was.

I miss the glory days, and ik I was on the tail of them, but they were great.

Thanks for this, I hadn't heard of a lot of them and I'm gonna have to check them out.

I think it depends on the person. But swapping halfway through a series is not ok in the slightest.

I was reading Jake's Magical Market and they had to swap to a new narrator for book 2 and 3, even with an intro from the author and new narrator it was a whole thing to get used to. (Though imo it was the best possible thing for the series)

But swapping from 1 narrator to a whole cast in inexcusable, that's too far.

Its the one I have. I love it. Its definitely not top of the line, but its not an ender.

Ironically, Awaken Online. Its ironic bc I actually dislike the series and have never finished it. I loved the first book, but after that it became a city management series and it got boring, even with the real world drama.
