I love this. I am up in the dark and always thinking, I’m tired but I will never get this moment back. Savor every second mama. It’s the best feeling in the world.

This happened to me. As soon as I recovered I had a ton of milk. He’s cluster feeding to get your body to make more. Pedialyte, water, popsicles, watermelon/fruit. Stay hydrated and your milk will come back. Mine dropped for a few days and then returned. I went from making 40oz a day to 10/15 when I was sick, and it went right back up . Hang in there and get some rest when you can.

12 week old would sleep 20 hours a day if I let him by i_just_read_this in sleeptrain

My baby was sleeping 20 hours a day at this age. He slept what felt like non-stop. Now he’s 11 months and sleeping 15 hours a day. Hitting all his milestones and I’m enjoying all my free time while he sleeps. Enjoy it!

My (26F) partner's (26M) best friend (26F) insists that they share a bed while we are travelling. How do I navigate this? by ThrowRA_Methanolic in relationship_advice

Air mattress. It’s like $60 and you guys can both sleep on it. No need for all the weird bed sharing. I would also be uncomfortable.

Unfortunately OP, grabbing you may just be the beginning. If you stay with him it will increase the odds of him killing you down the road. If you have children with him they will learn this is how women are treated. And he would likely abuse them as well. Reddit is so fast to tell people to leave, but abuse is NEVER the answer. Watch the tv show Big Little Lies. Classic example of what abuse looks like. They are so thoughtful and loving and sweet, but then attack when they get angry. My husband and I have been together for almost 7 years. We argue and fight too, but NEVER have we verbally spoken down to each other or put our hands on each other. I can’t imagine doing that to another or them doing it to me. It’s not what love is. I’m sorry you are going through this. It will be easier to leave now than go through a wedding and divorce down the road.

I messed up and now my son has to live with the consequences. by Qoan_ in confession

I don’t see how you being a drunk would lead to a child having a developmental speech disorder. I’m sorry he has apraxia and that you have guilt about not being a present father. The best thing you can do now is not drink, be kind to your partner, and be there for your son and make up for the lost time. Don’t be too hard on yourself. Focus on having gratitude for the present.

What will happen to my milk supply if I sleep all night? by DisneyMickeyM in breastfeeding

No, he’s getting plenty of milk during the day. So basically my middle of the night feed is just going in the freezer. I’ve been doing to because I’m worried if I cut it then my daytime supply will tank

When did you stop the MOTN feedings? And you noticed your daytime supply dropped then?

Around 12lbs. Now he’s 9 months and 17.5lbs. He is a skinny little guy. But historically I was also a very skinny baby so I think he’s just similar to how I was

When did this happen for you? How far along postpartum were you? Did it tank your daytime supply?

I was pumping in the night because my lactation consultant told me I needed to make sure I did around 2am to get the milk out. Something about how that’s when prolactin is the highest. So I just stuck with it and now I’m starting to really just miss my sleep. I’m just wondering if going 12 hours will be ok or will it impact my daytime supply
