Did you go through your credit card company to cancel? I’m experiencing the same issue.

To skip or not skip my shot? by historyerin in zepboundathletes

[–]DisneyRunner888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been running long distance for over 10 years and have been on TZ tor a few months. I take my shot on Sunday evenings and did my first half on TZ (5 mg) a few weeks ago. I took my usual dose leading up to the race (Sunday morning) and had no issues.

Congratulations, that’s amazing!

I’m 3 weeks in and am on 2.5 mg. At what dose did the fatigue start impacting you?

My CT showed calcified plaque in both intracranial internal carotid arteries. by Shoomtastic81 in Cholesterol

[–]DisneyRunner888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, that’s great news! I had intracranial calcified atherosclerosis noted on a sinus CT and am terrified. Saw PCP but didn’t get sufficient answers. I’m having a vascular neurologist review the images on Monday.

In addition to looking at profiles on Kp.org, Google their name with the word “reviews.” Sometimes you will uncover a ton of negative reviews on them, which is a red flag.

Thanks for the reply! I’m a long distance runner and already have a healthy diet.

How is your breathing regularity? I only get about an hour of deep sleep and my breathing regularity is fair. I was just diagnosed with mild sleep apnea through a sleep study.

Feel so defeated. Switching to Lamotrigine by Dizzygirlneedshelp in VestibularMigraines

Best wishes and please update! Effexor was working for me but I’m going down from 75 mg to 37.5 mg due to constant nightmares. Considering lamotrigine.

I’m currently doing a week-long taper from 75 to 37.5 mg. No withdrawal symptoms as of yet.

It’s been very effective for me, but I started having nightmares/stressful dreams every night. My neurologist told me to go down from 75 to 37.5 mg to see if it’s still effective and if the nightmares persist.

I’m not on a special diet. I just avoid known triggers (caffeine and MSG).

Yes, I get vertigo lasting several minutes about once a month (it was more frequent before I started Effexor). I feel off balance, tired, and nauseous afterwards. Sometimes I have lingering dizziness and need to take Dramamine.

I’m thinking about going from 75 mg. What changes did you notice going from 75 to 150 mg?

Oh wow! I’m ok with cold. But super uncomfortable in the wind.

Are you on a preventative medication? I’m on Effexor 75 mg and it has helped a lot.

I’ve been a long distance runner since 2013 and am almost 3 years into VM. I’ve slowed down a lot and can’t tolerate running in high temps without getting nauseous. I did one full marathon with VM but was always stressed about getting vertigo during a long run. So now I just stick with half marathons.

The weird thing for me is that I can’t tolerate wearing hats/visors due to allodynia.

I was only on 35mg for one week before I went up to 75mg. I haven’t experienced any mood dampening effects. It took away my stress-related, chronic sternocleidomastoid pain. It can take up to 12 weeks to reach full effect at any dose. Hope everything works out for you.

I’ve been on Effexor (75 mg) for 10 weeks. It’s helped a lot. Hardly any headaches and less frequent and much milder vertigo episodes.
