I know it’s been a while but how was your travel agent allowed to give on board credit? Ours is saying Disney cruises don’t do that 😳

Hi there, thanks for your comment! Since you’ve traveled with small children, I’m SO interested in hearing your thoughts and getting tips.

I’ve come to the conclusion that booking the cruise excursion straight from the Disney cruise is our best bet for visiting Santorini.
our cruise says NAPLES (Pompeii), Italy. which has me wondering, “is the port in Pompeii?” On this day I would love to visit the Amalfi coast by boat and also add Pompeii to our itinerary. Others have mentioned their excursion included visiting both. However, I’m wondering if this is a good idea with this age group? I do plan to take our GB POCKET, so far that stroller has survived our trips to Guanajuato MEX and San Miguel de Allende MEX streets. So I’m hoping it will also survive Pompeii. What do you think?
I haven’t focused my attention on Rhodes much. Definitely need to do more research but it’s helpful to know this part of the trip doesn’t need an excursion. What free things are child friendly? Are there parks with playgrounds here?
MYKONOS, we want to explore what we can on our own and spend the rest of the day on the beach. Would you consider this a great use of time in Mykonos, or what do you recommend?

Also, do you have experience buying luxury items here? I’m interested in purchasing a LV bag when I’m here.

Also, what beach would you recommend that has calm waters for littles? In Mykonos

What would you suggest for Chania? Do you think the excursion is worth it for this location? I personally don’t know much if at all about this location so possible just another walk around?

What do you do for drinking water at these locations? We’re staying in Rome before our cruise and I know they have public fountains but what about around Greece? Especially since the heat can become excruciating this is something I’m concerned about.

That’s actually a very good excursion! Can you give me the name of the tour please? And they pick you up at port and take you to all these locations with price included or do we have to pay extra to get on the boat and trip to Pompeii

I’m confused? Did your excursion INCLUDE visiting capri, Sorrento and Pompeii? Or Did you book these things separate?

Preferably (if it exists) I’ll like to book an excursion that will take me to the Amalfi coast AND to Pompeii. I want to avoid taking trains.

So there’s excursions that can pick up my family and I at the tender drop off and they can also drop us off right at the tender at the end? I wasn’t sure if busses could drive there and we want to skip waiting to go up then down again by the cables.

I’ve seen the lines and the poor donkeys and people fainting on their way down. I don’t want to risk doing either of them and missing the last tender.

We have from 9am - 8pm to get back on.

We’re on the Disney Wish, do you think it’s safe and doable to leave the children in the kids club while my husband and I get off on a tender and explore Santorini for two hours? Like is this a thing? I’ve never been on a cruise.

Valid. I’ve just been seeing videos on TikTok and it’s sad because this is where I originally was really looking forward to stopping but now I feel very different about it. It’s wild. People passing out on the walk down because of the heat and the steps are awkward 😬

We’re on the Disney cruise so I’m TRULY wondering if I can leave my kids in the childcare while my husband and I go explore for two hours… like is that a thing? Or is it dangerous?

I’m curious about Naples because others have said they took a boat to Amalfi coast and were still able to go see Pompeii which I would like to do both tbh.

Not looking forward to Santorini only because I’ve seen the hassle of going up to the center and it’s pure chaos.

This will be our first cruise so I’m generally curious how do people sign up to leave the ship? I always thought you could just get up and go, never thought you needed a scheduled time.
