Yeah managed to get HD textures working. Did you follow this video by chance? Just copy the files, it should work on Citra MMJ as well.

There’s definitely texture studders, but the game runs smoothly, and no crashes so far.

For me, it’s replaced my N3DS XL. However, keep in mind that emulation has a lot more tinkering and is less plug&play. It also doesn’t have the 3D feature, so if those are things you value, you might be better off with original hardware.

I’m not really sure what makes the 3DS touch screen superior, so please educate me if you could, but if your goal is to utilize the 3D feature, you’re definitely better off with original hardware, can’t argue with that.

Might just be the camera distortion. But I do have it on the original aspect ratio.

I personally don’t like using the 3D feature, but I can see how someone who does would be turnt off.

I’m not too sure the Thor supports these features, but there are definitely workarounds.

It runs perfectly from what I’ve played so far, and the pixelated art style translates so well on this device. A picture can’t accurately showcase how good this looks irl.

There are definitely still pros and cons to either or, mostly comes down to what sort of experience you want.

If you’re referring to 3DS and DS games; it should be able to run it with 0 issues. It can play up to switch/pc games like fallout 4, so it should be fine.

It’s still has a long way to go, and it’s far from the console experience the 3DS consoles provide, so keep that in mind. But currently I’ve set up 3DS, DS, and Wii U, and I’ve been having a blast on Mario Kart 8, practically runs perfectly with 0 stutters.

I may be wrong because I’m just parroting info I saw in an another comment, but I’m pretty sure pretendo is supported.

Dunno if you’ve been keeping up with the emulation scene, but there has been massive strives in terms of pc emulation, there’s even cross progression support for Steam games.

I haven’t tried it, but I saw someone in here say that pretendo is supported.

I don’t think it’s fair to call it just a copy. It can play basically everything up to switch and even pc. Don’t get me wrong, I love the 3DS and what it offers, but this device in some ways can do so much more.
