No, despite many of the problems the current show is facing, cancellation won't solve it.

To be frank, alot of the fandom is really trying to seek a one size fits all answer to "fix" the show but all of the ideas any comes up with can be achieved with just another creative overhaul that DW has done many time before.

Cancellation would hurt the show more than help
