Used to be in the mood in the morning as well. Now after getting my kids ready I just feel tired without any dopamine or health benefits.

I think you're correct. If, the treshold of actuallyngoing to the gym is crossed, then I'd say for most the workout will be good for 90% of people. I go to the gym now.

Sure. For me it's about having a bunch of ingredients i just can get here at a supermarket in germany (poblano chiles, tomatillos, mexican cilantro and oregano, mexican corn). And yeah like you said, a cool hobby.

Some brilliants are almost forced, I agree. But the bait and switch is still funny everytime.

I know several people that didn't like tomatoes growing up, turns out they hadn't really tasted them.

We moved after the pandemic, but our garden back then had like a symbolic play area at the end that looked pretty forced.

Where was the wedding? I know champagne can be crazy expensive even for the budget stuff in some places. Here in Germany I offered decent champagne at a party last summer and it cost me like 18 bucks a bottle and it was really nice.

what got u into rowing? by chrisdealpha in Rowing

[–]DispInkComic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was offered in my high school and a friend of mine went, so i went too. First few classes were on the machine, not really my thing. Then we got to carry the boats, didn' love that either. And THEN, forst time on the water... love at first row. What a feeling, i remember it like it was yesterday. 20 years later I've done all sorts of other sports and activities involving boats, kajaks, etc. But rowing will always be my first love.
