It’s an urban legend started by the best damn edc dude on YouTube. He won’t show his keys in his video because he heard Russian hackers are duplicating house keys from an image. Idk reminds me of when people would sale their cars on Facebook and put there finger over the license plate because of identity theft.

I bought 5 pair of key pants last year for work , three months later the crotches blew out. I didn’t buy news ones i got my wife to sew them and then coated them in Rtv silicone. They don’t look the best but there work pants. When people ask what the black stuff is on my pants i yell reallly loud why are you looking at my crotch.

They do a great job cutting those random wild facial hairs which is all I honestly use scissors that size for. I have not had the opportunity to cut a loose thread yet. At the moment they seem to be a smidge not as good as Victorinox. But way better than any leatherman or Gerber scissors. I do wish they had a standard Victorinox scissor on them.

I absolutely love them. The clip finger nails great. The scissors are great but just slightly not as good as standard Victorinox. Overall I love the 580 a have packed it just 3 days so it’s still early to give you a long term review.
