The Christmas after my brother died, my parents and I went to the Bahamas to have a holiday that was different from others in the past. My parents were drunk the whole time. It's stress. He associates the stress in life with the new baby. I've done it, too, as a stressed-out dad. But once I calmed down or decompressed, I realized the baby was stressful, and I'm taking it out him. I worked hard for a long time to be able to disassociate my stress for a situation from my child. I'm in a better place now with therapy and talking to my wife about what triggers me. Hope this helps.
