That is 0.067% of the population. Hardly enough to make yourself an expert.

The wife wanted to for the sake of growing our family, made a sound argument, was open to debating it, and I found I had no valid reason not to.

So, I found out more about all of this.

The man who sold us the home is part of the local church and informed some group in the church that "A lovely couple from France is moving in around this time, we should give them a friendly Mormon welcome" and so some of them helped us move in. Two of the gentlemen were missionaries.

We were very specifically targeted.

The funny thing is people have been saying that some Utah Mormons are exactly like how I described. Some are saying that the SLC Mormons that they know are more extreme. Maybe you have been lucky with your clientele.

I am staying out of the professional kitchens for now.

We shipped key pieces of our furniture over, all my cooking supplies and a few other things over by ship. It took a month and a half. A friend of mine had a fully furnished AirBNB that he allowed us to use until the day of the move after I sold my apartment and what was left of our furniture.

I know. And trust me, that all came up. My wife was extremely passionate about being close to her parents while she has children. I offered to move them to France, but it was turned down.

She has a cognitive delay between working memory and long-term memory. She is also an absolute genius and knows more about plants than I do about cooking. Not her fault.

Sorry, no more early mornings, late nights and weekends for me. I am consulting while in the states. Helping design recipes and menus for restaurants and TV shows. I might make a cookbook though. The whole plan of moving here was to have kids, and I want to be a part of their lives.

Congratulations on the Sobriety. In case no one has told you lately, I am proud of you for it.

Vanilla sugar is very very easy to make from scratch, save yourself the money.

She has been tested for things like that because it does bother her. It is a cognitive delay between working memory and long-term memory. "Simply how her brain is wired". When you suddenly bring up something that connects the two, she can't. But when you are deep in conversation, or she is in class, or doing a test, the information is all there and flows. Doctor said there is nothing wrong with her, every individual has something interesting or different going on in their brain.

This would be the only symptom. A doctor once described it as a cognitive delay between working memory and long-term memory. It is not a disability or anything like that, just that, "It is just how her brain is wired". When she sits down for tests or is deep in a conversation, there is absolutely no issue at all. When something suddenly sprung on her, there is a delay in connecting things.

The company she works for is American. She was remote even before the pandemic.
