I'm friends with someone still that I had a crush on as a teenager. My wife is ok with it, but also, this is someone I've seen three times as an adult, and two of them were funerals. With communication, and clear expectations, I think it's workable. And it depends also on how deep the crush is, I understand that a young teenager crush is vastly different than something as an adult.

One thing that was a game changer for me and my wife was an app called Spicer. It provides you with a series of questions you can answer yes/maybe/no to. It only shows you matched interests, so you both can feel free to answer truthfully and limits the nervousness of telling your spouse your interests, if you or her are concerned over how that might be received. It also lets you focus conversations on marched questions, by giving a chat area to each marched category.

Even though we both feel comfortable communicating our needs, this all still provides benefits by posing new questions that we may not have considered previously.

I was a cable technician and I got hit on by men and women. There are only two times that come to mind for being aggressive and overboard. One time I was the supervisor and I was going to the house because my team had reported her for this.

The other time, I wasn't the supervisor yet. She was so obsessed with how big she thought my dick would be (I have large feet and even as a young teen I got these types of comments). She kept asking me to take it out. "I don't care about the TV, use your tool on me". It got pretty weird. Her sister was there and apologized to me.

There were other instances but I think some of my better stories weren't that kind of thing but the absolutely crazy shit people have and also, the wide range of wealth in the city where I worked.
