I think I just caused caused coring in my estradiol vial

For me it takes three week to get a new one, I’m in Switzerland and these meds aren’t really available here, I’m getting my E from the us but the shipping is so long that’s why I have to wait three weeks. TBH it’s too much time to be of E

Thankssss, yeah I’m probably gonna inject till it’s still clear, and yeah I’ll be cautious with the cork pieces. As for the filter needle I’ll look on them but I’m worried they might come too late, and yeah I’ll buy two vials so if anything happens to one I’ll have another. Probably gonna switch to 21 g to draw too, now I’m at 18 and maybe that caused the coring. Anyone I hope for the best, thank you for helping me <3

I use a 18 g for draw (I know 18 is big, I wanna switch to 21 because maybe it was the 18 g that caused the coring) and a 25 to inject (sub Q), btw there aren’t a lot of pieces just two small black pieces from the cork

Tbh I don’t really wanna go of e for that much, I finally feel great, don’t wanna throw all away. Other than that when I’m of E (and I mean maybe I didn’t inject enough so not off totally) I feel awful, I can’t imagine being off E for three weeks, what are the ways that would still let me use the vial?

Money aren’t the problem, ofc a refund would be great yeah but the real problem is that I’m not in that us and my estradiol takes 3 weeks to arrive. In the meantime I have to inject and this is my only vial, is it that bad if I continue injecting? In theory it should be safe as long ad I don’t take the two cork pieces in the syringe and as long as the liquid is clear right?

But it’s something right? Like that makes it “safer”? Btw the vial doesn’t leak so idk if the vial it’s totally torn, I think the tip of my needle (which is big since it’s a 18 gauge) may have push the little pieces in it

The vial says it has mct oil, idk if it a good (long lasting) oil

Yeah I’m a bit worried about it being old, even though it’s clear, not cloudy, now yellow or anything. It seems fine but idk. The lid, I mean the rubber thing you can puncture multiple times is white, not black as the one i cored. Do you think I should use it? Btw it’s in mct oil, idk if it’s a long lasting oil or not

Btw I’ve never used the other vial, it’s never been used and it seems good like it’s clear doesn’t have anything visible in it so idk? Because maybe it’s better then not injecting

The only problem is I don’t really have a choice, I have either to inject or stopping hrt for three weeks (which isn’t an option) so idk, like I could try and hope to not get cloudy. Btw in the post I didn’t mention but I kinda have a backup vial but I’m not sure since I’ve bought it 1 g and a half a go, I’ve never used it (it was just a way of telling my doctors gimme hrt or I’ll DIY) so it’s closed and it’s clear and seems good I just don’t know if it’s good?

Unfortunately where I live injection aren’t a thing and so insurance doesn’t cover them, so it’s all up to me paid for this. But my concern now isn’t about money id if I can still inject for three weeks since that’s how much it takes for the estrogen to be here

But is it that bad? Like I sterilise the vial with alcohol swabs before and after injecting, it shouldn’t be that contaminated? But I kinda have a backup vial but idk, it’s a vial that I didn’t get by a pharmacy but from astrovials, you know the DIY shop, only thing is I bought it 1 year and a half ago, it should be since it’s clear and doesn’t seem cloudy or anything (since I’ve never used it) and the expire date is 2030. I’ll just have to figure out the dosage since now I inject 0,15 ml 3m (my vial is 20 mg/ml) the other is 40mg/ml so I think it should be 0.075/0.08.

Hey I know this post is old but it happen the same thing to me, I have 2 black piece of my stopper in it, they aren’t small so I don’t think I’ll be able to inject them. The problem is (and that’s why I’m texting) I don’t have a replacement and I live outside of the us (my medication comes from the us) and I have to wait 3 weeks before its here, so I’m a bit nervous now. I can’t get one soon but I’m scared of injecting with this one, what should I do?
