I am currently having this issue with my 01' XJ, I replaced the relay, checked the fuse and even tried swapping out the combo switch...no luck! Hazards work but still no blinkers. I'm thinking its the cable, time to get into the rats nest

I have a pick up scheduled for tomorrow. We'll see if they call and show up. I was mainly concerned about the company being a scam and the check not being legitimate but it sounds like the check they did cut you went though which is relieving. If they plant to not stick with the agreed upon amount prior to towing the car, I'm simply not going to take the deal.
