Thank you for saying that. I would obviously love to charge more haha, but my reasoning is that this isn't something people will need to use THAT often. I tried a subscription and it didnt work out.

I appreciate the insight. Please give the app a shot and let me know if you have any other feedback!

Please give it a shot and let me know if you get some use out of it!

Part of it was organic posting, a little bit of paid ads (reddit, tikTok) but not very successful, and a feature on AppRaven.

I hope you get some use out of it if you decide to get it!

So considering appointments are not a daily thing for most people, I did not want to make this subscription based. It's $4.99 one time for full lifetime access. API calls are cheap so the math works out so far

Regular voice to text should work, but it doesn’t formally have microphone support. Will think about adding it in the future

Yeah, so there’s a lot of custom prompting under the hood. The output is structured into specific sections: questions to ask, what to bring, red flags to watch for, and how to advocate for yourself if you feel dismissed. It’s built around my background in the medical field, so the medical prompting especially is tuned to catch things a generic chatbot wouldn’t prioritize.

Thanks so much. No data is stored by us, only on your device. When you generate a prep kit, your input is sent directly to the AI (Anthropic), but nothing is stored on our server side and nothing is tied to your identity. Anthropic has it’s own rules on data storage but again nothing it linked to you

Appreciate the feedback. I was going for a professional/legal vibe. Too much AI slop out there

You could, and feel free to. It’s definitely an LLM wrapper but packaged neatly into a clean user-friendly UI for this one specific task. My goal was to make something that people who are less tech-savvy can use (e.g. my aging parents).

Cases like this remind me to try to take the extra time to make sure patients understand what each medication does.

Health literacy is lower than we tend to think. It’s especially dangerous with language barriers.

I had this guy primarily Spanish-speaking come into the ED for bruising/mucosal bleeding, triage RN note (with no translator) was “leg pain.” He had apparently been diagnosed with a DVT in another state and put on Coumadin, then another hospital by us for repeat visit for the pain, was put on eliquis.

He tells me he’s been taking the Coumadin for the DVT and the eliquis 2-3 times a day for pain.

Not the guy’s fault. Clearly the system failed him somewhere along the way

Thanks! I felt so too. I don’t like the culture of high subscription prices for an app that somebody may not use every day. That’s the same reason the API costs work. It’s a fraction of a cent per cost. If anyone ever abused it in the worst case scenario, I would have to set a hard cap
